Welcome! I’m Amy Boladian, a multidisciplinary fine artist, illustrator, and digital designer based in Arizona. With over two decades of experience, my work spans across tangible art, commercial graphic design, and emerging AI technologies.
My Roots: Traditional Fine Art & Ceramics
My artistic journey began with clay, pencil, and paper. Through rigorous formal training at the National Centre for Aesthetics and the State Academy of Fine Arts in Armenia, I developed a deep foundation in fine art, ceramics, and art history. My work is deeply rooted in the tactile exploration of form, texture, and classical composition. This hands-on foundation in physical mediums continues to anchor my understanding of visual storytelling today.
The Evolution: Graphic Design & Print Production
Over the course of my career, I translated my traditional skills into the digital and commercial space. As a Graphic Designer and Project Coordinator, I have spent years perfecting typography, complex layouts, and print production. From directing local advertising operations to managing multi-phase design projects from concept to press, I specialize in helping clients translate their goals into highly effective, beautiful visual communications. Design and prepare files for private, public, and government use, leading multi-team projects and coordinating with a wide range of vendors to ensure successful delivery.
The Frontier: Artificial Intelligence
Today, I work at the exciting intersection of classical artistry and modern technology. I view artificial intelligence not as a replacement for the artist, but as a powerful new medium. By applying my traditional fine art training—rooted in classical composition, color theory, and perspective—I analyze creative processes and experiment with AI models to ensure they produce nuanced, intentional, and compelling visual outcomes.
Personal Passions: Heritage & Photography
My heritage plays a significant role in my creative life. I am the founder/designer of Hyeahh Apparel, a boutique brand where I design minimal, meaningful clothing and gifts that celebrate Armenian cultural identity.
Photography is a cherished hobby that keeps my eye sharp for natural lighting and raw composition, constantly feeding my inspiration across all the other mediums I work in.
